About Seun Babajide-Duroshola

Seun Babajide-Duroshola is a Marketing Executive with extensive expertise in Brand Management and Marketing Communication Strategy. With over 10 years of extensive transnational experience across roles, she has developed comprehensive competence in integrated marketing strategies, brand equity development, communication planning, data analysis, and analytics reporting as well as creative content marketing. Seun’s ability to proactively engage new information and catalyse growth has been one of the major mainstays of her professional advancement. Her passion for knowledge exploration coupled with an adventurous appreciation for challenges uniquely positions her for impact within the marketing and growth management industry. Leveraging these, she has developed in-depth insight into the dynamics of business development, cross-functional team management, communications operations, brand management, marketing automation and effective problem solving.

Currently, she is the Skills Enterprise Program Manager at Microsoft 4Afrika, – the Africa-focused segment of the tech giant, Microsoft, where she designs skills development plans for different industries across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and allocating the Skilling resources available to these Microsoft customers. In this role, she connects and manages key stakeholders in the customer accounts informing them of the available Skilling Program collaborating with the Account managers and also the Leadership team of Microsoft, she manages a budget of over $100,000 per annum and ensure strategic deployment of the skilling resources. Prior to this role, she was the Central Strategic Marketing Manager at Microsoft 4Afrika, Microsoft, where she is responsible for the MEA region. Seun managed business growth and positive brand reach through innovative marketing strategies that served to convert passive awareness to proactive consumption across the region. She was similarly responsible for core marketing strategy deployment and execution while developing branding communication in line with set business performance indices. She managed experience optimisation for the brand’s ecosystem pulling together several aspects of the marketing machinery, including branding, objectives execution, communication plan, and strategic execution plans for campaign launch across all the metrics of routine operations and engagements.

Among several other achievements of her role, she successfully masterminded strategic partnerships, handled a marketing budget of over $90,000, managing the scope of work, the budget utilisation and overall campaign resources and ensuring measurable results. She also achieved an increment in online traffic and engagement from 20% to 80% within 18 months of project initialisation and successfully oversaw several other key organisational projects.
